Awards for the strongest corporate brands in the European real estate industry

On June 23, 2021, the first-ever hybrid staged gala event for the “Brand Diamonds” award ceremony was staged live and online in the centre of Berlin.

Europe’s largest real estate brand value study

460,000 real estate end users, 109,000 industry experts, 1,400 brands and 45 European markets – provided the impressive core data for the REAL ESTATE BRAND VALUE STUDY. Europe’s largest empirical brand equity study of the real estate industry, conducted by the EUROPEAN REAL ESTATE BRAND INSTITUTE (REB.Institute), serves as the scientific basis for identifying the strongest brands in an industry that is one of the most important branches to the global economy in terms of value creation and employment figures. The contents of the special studies which were highlighted in by the REB.Institute draws its attention to the first year after the outbreak of the Covid pandemic, and focuses on the central topics of crisis resilience, ESG/sustainability, employer branding and digital marketing leadership.

The “Oscars” for the real estate industry

On June 23, 2021, the strongest brands in the real estate industry were honoured with the coveted “Brand Diamonds” for the 12th time in 12 years. The worthy setting for the award ceremony was – in keeping with the well-known real estate motto “Location, Location, Location” – the Axica designed by architect Frank Gehry at Pariser Platz 3 in the center of Berlin. As in previous years, TV star Barbara Schöneberger and REB.Institute founder and CEO Harald Steiner hosted the glamorously staged award show, which could also be followed simultaneously online via the REAL ESTATE BRAND CHANNEL.

Record Hybrid Event

The idea of a platform that offers award winners from all countries, regions and sub-sectors on a fitting stage to provide a wide-ranging presentation was realized for the first time in 2021 with a hybrid event – the world’s largest award livestream event in the real estate industry. The 50 top decision-makers from the German real estate industry appeared at the Axica venue were joined by big players from all parts of Europe (UK, France, Benelux, Nordics, Baltics, Central Eastern Europe (CEE) and Southern Europe (SE)) via live feed.
